Description
Our Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD) is a lightweight, compact, and easy-to-use life-saving tool designed to provide critical respiratory protection in hazardous environments. Perfectly suited for use in confined spaces onboard your vessel, the EEBD ensures that personnel can quickly and safely escape from areas affected by toxic gases, smoke, or oxygen-deficient atmospheres.
The device is engineered for immediate donning, meaning it can be put on rapidly when an emergency situation arises, providing instant protection from harmful air quality. This makes the EEBD an indispensable tool in emergency preparedness for situations where quick thinking and action are crucial.
The positive pressure hood ensures that the wearer is not exposed to any toxic gases, as it eliminates the risk of inhaling hazardous substances. The positive pressure prevents the entry of dangerous gases into the breathing space, ensuring safe, clean air is consistently delivered to the wearer. This protective feature is especially valuable in environments where the air quality can change suddenly, or where toxic substances might be present in high concentrations.
The EEBD is designed with user-friendly accessibility in mind. It is packed in a handy carrying bag, making it easy to store and deploy in case of an emergency. Its compact design allows it to fit in small spaces, ideal for situations where storage space is limited, such as on vessels or in industrial environments.
Additionally, the alarm system built into the device alerts the wearer when the air supply is nearing depletion, ensuring that they are aware of the need to find an escape route or seek further assistance before the air runs out. This added safety feature helps prevent any unexpected depletion of air, further enhancing the reliability of the EEBD in critical situations.
In summary, the Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD) is a vital piece of safety equipment designed to offer quick, reliable, and safe escape from environments with hazardous air quality. Its easy donning, positive pressure protection, compact design, and air supply alarm make it an essential safety tool for anyone working in confined spaces onboard a vessel or in similar environments requiring immediate respiratory protection.

Comfort Features
The T-ISS EEBD is intended to be used to escape from a machinery space and be carried by fire fighters to give personnel in need of assistance. An EEBD is not intended to be used for fire- fighting purposes or entering oxygen-deficit or toxic environments, for firefighters use our SCBA. This EEBD is designed according to Chapter 3 – Fire System Safety Code (FSSC)/2.2. A training version of this EEBD is also available.
